Dr .M.Pavan Kumar

I am a practicing artist, art educator, Archivist, Popular visual culture of Living traditions.
I am an optimist and self-motivated set goals and work towards them as per my interest – artistic and research related. As an art educator, I teach creative art to graduate and postgraduate students. I prefer teaching not just as a profession but it gives immense opportunities to interact with young and innovative brains.
I have completed Visual arts from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, M.F.A Painting from Bangalore University. B.F.A .Painting from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Attended Summer courses in Royal College of Arts,UK.Slade school of Fine arts, UK.Oxford university ,UK. I was awarded the Pollack –Krasner foundation grant-New York as well as the Awesome Foundation Art project Grant, Boston, USA.

I have worked as Assistant Professor in department of Fine Arts Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

I have also published research papers in various journals and also presented papers in National and International conferences for Popular Visual Culture.

Currently lives and works in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
